Way back in 1999 when I first got help for parenting with Nico, my unruly toddler, the coach asked:  

“Does he know who’s in charge?”

My husband and I laughed

“Er, no, he runs rings around us”.

When I said it was time to switch off the TV, he used to shout...

I was really irritated a couple of days ago. I’d had a spat with my husband and I was feeling so annoyed with him.

It is a pretty rare couple that doesn’t argue but boy is it hard when you do, isn't it?
